Berg Who?

As their name might suggest, they like icebergs! Berg Whisky is built on the premise that just like whisky, icebergs run deep.

They say:

There are many levels to them both. Up to 90% of an iceberg can lie underwater and leaves much to be discovered beneath the surface. These glorious glacial formations fascinate and spur us to seek everything there is to know about our favourite dark spirit.

There are stories waiting to unfold beyond the appearances of icebergs and whisky. We played with the idea of combining the two into something that embodied our values: design, whisky and quality. 

The Glasses

Not only do Berg Whisky have a really cool name (see what I did there) and concept, but they also have a really solid product.

The set of glasses featured here are their latest invention, a fantastically designed and handmade gift set which contains:

These glasses are fantastic, they’re designed by whisky lovers and the meticulous attention to detail of the designers is apparent from the minute you receive your box of glasses, the presentation is second to none.

These have quickly become my new favourite glass, knocking even my personalised Glencairns to the back of the cabinet. There is just something about the feel of these chunky tumblers, yet they still allow the whisky in them to breathe and don’t hamper the aromas or flavour, which some tumblers often can.
